Thank you soo muchhh!!!!:)

Where do I begin?! I was nominated for the Liebster Award!!.. this comes as a complete shock to me because I am a fairly new blogger. I created this blog as an outlet; I always have so much to say whether it be about school, life, makeup, books etc.. To be truthfully honest my first fan was my best friend! I pestered her every day about whether or not to create a blog, even now she is the first one to know when a new post is up.

To others 7 followers may not be a lot but to me it's incredible, to even have people reading what I write makes me so happy! Blogging is a new found hobby of mine, and each post brings more and more excitement. Each comment just lifts my spirits and encourages me to keep doing what I now love.

Thank you to each of my subscribers for showing an interest in my blog it truly means sooooo muchhh to me!
A little background since I wasn't even too sure about the true meaning of this award:

- This award is recognition to those who have 200 or less followers
-It motivates individuals to nominate 5 fellow bloggers to essentially pass on the love and encouragement:)

I would like to THANK Meggin from Beauty Box Canada for this nomination!
For a girl who is just starting out you just encouraged me so much more

Next I would like to nominate the following 5 individuals:

First outfit of the day + MAC purchases!!

Here is my first outfit of the day yay! I stepped out this morning for a dentist appointment and afterwards ending up going to the mall with my mom and her friend. I was running out of foundation and I was going anyway so I thought I would just pick one up. I also wanted to try another concealer, currently I have been using the Studio Fix one but I had heard great things about the Pro Long wear concealer. I went bought both things, just to come home and find out that the associate did not give me the right concealer. Instead I got the select moisture cover (which is also more expensive I believe) Darn! The Pro long wear is said to have very good coverage, it is a liquid that goes on but needs to be applied quick in order to achieve the best coverage..in other words I think you need to work with it fast. The concealer that I was given has a sponge tip applicator, however I am not sure about the coverage level. I know MAC has wonderful customer service, the last time I went the associate told me that if I was not satisfied with the product or the shade was not correct I could come back with a receipt to switch it.. anyone tried out this product? Any thoughts? I might just give it a try and see, I will also end up reading some reviews about it.

and onto my outfit, simple but comfortable and perfect for day to day wear..

Taupe Cardigan- Bluenotes (12$)
Vintage Floral Top- Bluenotes ($16)
Jeans- bought a long time ago!
They are a dark denim wash, and I purchased them @ Urban Planet
Cross body bag- Aldo ($50)

That's all for now!

LuxeBox Time!

Yess it is finally here at last! I have to say being May 1st today I am a bit disappointed by the delay but at least I got the box for this month. I had a general idea of what to expect since I have been reading blogs and watching numerous LuxeBox unboxing videos. Every box I had seen had the Pantene samples, the leave in conditioner, and the makeup remover. I am happy in a sense that my Luxe Box was a bit different than others. I got a total of 3 hair care products, and 2 nail care items. In my the description part below I have paired the Pantene products together hence there is only 4 descriptions below.

The first in line program was in effect this month, and I had selected the Essie polish, I thought I would get the standard color that everyone was getting (She's Picture Perfect) but I didn't, I still love the one that I received though!

Time to see what I got!

This month's product card complete with 5 products + a daffodil pin

and here are this month's goodies...

Product Details + Opinion
(Left to Right:)

1) Chi Silk Infusion: is a leave in restorative treatment that helps to protect hair against damage whether from thermal styling or environmental effects. The size I received was a tiny sample (15mL), however I do think there is enough to test it out a couple times and see how I like it overall. The full size has 180mL of product in it and it sells for $33. I like experimenting with different hair care treatments because it's not something I am really drawn to, if it was my choice I would rather buy a makeup item every time I went shopping. This gives me an opportunity to sample out different brands and regiments which I am generally happy about.

Do I like it? Yes, I would have to say this is an item I am happy with. It's something different which I have never tried. In Previous Luxe Boxes I was able to test out Morrocan oil, and the Kerastace Hair Elixir so this is another added bonus for me:)

2) Pantene Pro-V Aqua light Shampoo + Conditioner: This shampoo and conditioner is new on the hair care market, the main goal of this duo plus other products within the Aqua Light line is to achieve "weightlessness, using things like water- soluble ingredients". I think it is interesting how a lot of companies and products are trying to go simple, green, and environmentally friendly. I also think it's nice being able to use a product that will restore prior damage but also help to protect future damage without harsh chemicals. The samples were very good in size, perfect to take on an over night trip, or for travelling (50mL each). The full size comes with tons more product (375mL) and retails for $6, both shampoo and conditioner. Soo it is a veryy affordable and cost effective product..does it work? I have no idea I will have to give it a try sometime..have  any of you tried this line out? Feel free to comment below letting me know:)Honestly, this wasn't something that made me overly excited..it was just kinda okay.

3)Essie Nail Polish: Definitely lovingg this polish, and am really pleased with the color I got. The color I received is called "Pink - a- boo" and it is a full sized polish. It is 8$ in stores and it is gorgeous!
It is a cotton candy colored pink with metallic reflexes. The nail polish also has hints of purple and silver shimmer. It is a sheer color that can be built up, It looks one color in the bottle but when you put it on you can see how it just shimmers in different light. It gives off a nice purpley pink shimmer:)

4) Seche Ridge Filling Base Coat: This is a nail filler which acts also as a base coat, it contains quartz crystals that work to fill in ridges in the nail, and disguise imperfections. I got a mini sample of this (3.8mL) but the full size contains 15 mL ($7). I really liked this product as well, I actually have some ridges in my nails so it will be nice to try this out. I heard about OPI's filler but never purchased it, now I don't have to!:)

Overall: I knew what to expect this month, and I saw a lot of people receiving similar things so I din't get my hopes up too high butt I still do like my Luxe Box, it wasn't the best but it wasn't awful.

On a side note the best Luxe Box so far has to bee my friend Sarah's!! She got like 7 items?! Some of which included Morrocan oil, Cargo blush, the Mereadesso beautiful body balm and more..

Thanks to my readers! Blogging has rapidly become one of my biggest hobbies and knowing that there are other fellow bloggers and friend's reading this makes me incredibly greatful!

Enjoy the rest of your day

Helloo!!:)

It feels like a while since I have last posted, yesterday I went to Wal-Mart and ending up getting a few items, makeup, nail and face care. For the nail kit, and the moisturizer I plan to try it out and then post an honest review about it..so be on the look out for that soon:

The first makeup related item I purchased was this Wet N' Wild Eyeshadow trio. I had heard a lot about these particular shadows from a Youtuber by the name of Lilian Masie (She mentions the Wet N' Wild palette near the end of her favorite's video). I thought I would give it a go, the colors are beautiful and they are so affordable. I thought I paid around $4 for the shadow trio, but I checked my receipt and was surprised it was only $ 2.97

  Color- "Walking on Egg Shells"
Price- $2. 97

I tried out the palette today, and was super pleased with it!

Another thing I really liked about this set was how it included two different applicators instead of just one. It came with the sponge applicator and a blending brush that can be used in the crease.

While in Wal-Mart I came across the stands of Essie polishes they had.. I snapped a couple of pictures:)

and here are two other shelves... on of which is the Essie Luxe Effects collection!

Here are the other two items I purchased..
In depth reviews about these two coming soon hopefully...I have yet to try out the gel nail polish set, and I want to use the moisturizer a couple more times to see how I like it.

That`s basically it for my Wal-Mart purchases..Luxe Box Blog (April) coming as soon as I get my box haha..I have yet to receive it, ohh and I just got the call, our pottery pieces are ready for pick up YAY!

That`s all for now,
